Steve Leslie began studying guitar at the age of seven. By the time he was fifteen, he had students of his own and was performing regularly at local venues and events. Steve continued his study of guitar thru high school and had secured a music scholarship to East Central College by his junior year. After attending ECC, Steve transferred to Berklee College of Music in Boston where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Professional Music. Steve remained on the east coast after graduation where he continued to teach, record, and perform until returning to Missouri in 1998. He has performed with and/or opened for national and international recording artists throughout the United States and has over 35 years teaching experience.
